Eyes wide,
Watching something divinely orchestrated,
Careful lest I disrupt the design...
Summer's theater
Played out for me.
The spotlight of the sun
Streams upon a garden stage.
Blossoms abound,
Seeds for new life.
I drink it in...
With every sense.
I don't want to miss a moment,
Overlook a detail,
Or forget the seamless intermingling
As music rises,
Action builds,
Joining melody, harmony, movement.
Undaunted,
Having sipped of sweetness,
They can't help but dance...
A dance that draws them into open space
Without boundaries
And yet so near to one another...
With grace that bears no words.
Partners lost in the music...
No longer aware of any other elements
But the dance...
A summer dance...
Beautiful in every way.
From my heart of hearts,
Susan
